Greenpoint Thermography, LLC was established in 2012 by three healthcare professionals with over 65 years combined experience. Greenpoint fills a void in the local healthcare market by providing mobile thermographic services to the Tampa Bay area. It is unique in providing interpretations by two board certified radiologists.
John D. Bartone MD (Manager-Medical Operations) is a diagnostic radiologist with extensive experience in both general diagnostic imaging and women’s imaging. He attended St. Georges University School of Medicine. He completed his radiology residency at New York Methodist Hospital and a fellowship in Cross-Sectional Imaging at The University of Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital. He has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1991. For many years he worked as a locum tenens radiologist providing temporary coverage at many practices around the country, including Temple University and Maui Memorial Hospital. Most recently he spent several years at the Women’s Center for Radiology in Orlando, FL. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Thomas Hudson MD (Thermologist/Consultant) is a diagnostic radiologist specializing in mammography and breast imaging. He attended medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and completed his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. After his time in the Army he settled in Naples, FL, where he served as Director of Women’s Imaging at Naples Diagnostic Imaging Centers (NDIC). Since 2005, Dr. Hudson has been an independent women’s imaging consultant, most recently at the prestigious Women’s Center for Radiology in Orlando, FL. He is also on the faculty of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, D. C. His passion is to educate women about self-care as it relates to breast cancer and breast cancer prevention. He lectures to larger groups as well as counsels women one on one about a mind-body-spirit approach to their health.
